The 1st International Conference of information Technology Management (ICITM2006)

IT and management has grown mounting influence in business, industry and education, the conference would like to consolidate most recent research results in information system, knowledge management, commercial intelligence, electronic commerce, E-education application. The area covers the concepts and theories of Information Systems, Industrial applications E-Education and Business Management. The topics varies from software, e-learning, office automation, textile and garment, automobile electronic, logistics, retails, supply chain, financial, accounting banking, lawyer, government, education to media sector. As part of the mission of the Institute of Systems Management is to facilitate the application of the information technology to industrial enterprises, we promote cross-fertilization over interdisciplinary areas of business application and information systems. Our industrial case presentation and tutorial sessions will bridge the gap between academics and practitioners.

SUBMISSION

Original papers not being submitted to journals or other conferences

will be considered. All submitted papers will be evaluated according to

its originality, significance, correctness, presentation and relevance.

Papers should be submitted electronically

to csronnie@comp.polyu.edu.hk or csnkliu@comp.polyu.edu.hk.

Templates are available at the conference web site for online submission.

Please follow the instructions given by the web page. Manuscripts will be limited to 8

pages following IEEE conference proceedings style and guidelines. We

encourage authors to present novel ideas, critique of existing work, and

practical studies and experiments.

Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of the

The 1st International Conference of information Technology and Management

(ICITM2006). At least one of the authors of each accepted paper must register as a

full participant of the workshop to have the paper published in the proceedings.

TUTORIALS

Proposals are invited for high-quality half-day tutorials. Proposals should include a two-page description and motivation for the topic of the tutorial, the full name and address of the tutorial speaker(s), a concise description of the contents and goals of the tutorial with a few keywords for each section, a rough estimate of the time spent on each section, the level of the tutorial, the required audience experience, and the speaker(s) biography. Tutorial proposals should be submitted by email to cshleung@comp.polyu.edu.hk or manchung.chan@inet.polyu.edu.hk no later than 15 May, 2006
